PricedUp is owned by Red Edge Partners and operated by Off Course Bookmakers Limited, using the Playbook Gaming platform. Some of the sister sites are AK Bets, BetWright, BestOdds, StarSports, and Planet Sport Bet.

PricedUp is a relatively new betting and casino site in the UK, hitting the market in 2024, and it's owned by Red Edge Partners. There are quite a lot of sister sites when you factor in the Playbook Gaming link, which has become a very popular platform among new betting sites, and all of the clients are very similar.
Interestingly, PricedUp is operated by the UKGC licence of Off Course Bookmakers Limited, which used to have the trading name Star Sports registered (another site that uses Playbook Gaming). Nevertheless, the Red Edge Partners website makes it very clear that PricedUp is part of the company's portfolio, even if it used to be listed by Sharedbet Limited.
NRG Bet is the obvious top choice for PricedUp, which we will get into, but it's also worth checking out other Playbook Gaming sites. So, let's take a closer look...
The link was stronger before, when PricedUp was also handled by Sharedbet, but it's still not strange to name NRG Bet the best sister. It's the only remaining brand under the Sharedbet umbrella, following the closure of Rhino Bet, and it has a broader focus (i.e. on several sports) than PricedUp, which is very horse racing-focused.
Overall, the quality is decent but there's certainly nothing to shout about. There is a lack of promotion for both sports and casino, which isn't ideal. The minimum deposit is also set at £10, which is much higher than PricedUp (£1). In short, it feels like Sharedbet is focusing on PricedUp a lot more currently.

When assessing the Playbook Gaming sites, there are only a few that don't have a specific niche, or a focus if you like. The aforementioned NRG Bet is one of them, StarSports is another and we feel the latter is a very good option. Of course, it has a rich history in the horse racing community as Star Racing, but the online version is diverse.
For example, politics have been pushed a lot by the site which clearly likes to price up special markets, while also benefiting from a minimum deposit of just £1. The fact that PricedUp is under a licence that used to have Star Sports as a trading name - as mentioned at the start - also suggests there are more links here than just the platform.

Just to add a horse-racing focused option to the table, AK Bets is well worth a try for those who like the looks and features of PricedUp. Anthony Kaminskas, the man behind the brand, is a horse racing enthusiast and has a very sensible approach to the betting world. He's certainly in it for the long run with AK Bets.
From a punter's point of view, this is obviously great to hear, especially after the sudden closure of Rhino Bet. As for the actual site, there is a decent amount of promotions and there is even a tips section. The presence on social media and personal touch is something we like a lot as well.
