Find, compare and claim welcome offers of VBet's sister sites in the UK. VBet is owned and operated by SCGO Limited.
VBet has been on the gambling scene for a long time, first launching in 2003, but it has only been available for UK punters since 2017. The owner SCGO Limited has certainly branched out in recent years, not only bringing the flagship VBet to the UK market but also partnering with other sites, providing the sportsbook and casino platform.
As a result, VBet has a few sister sites in the UK: CopyBet, Hollywoodbets and Highbet. The first two have their own licences and only use the platform - called BetConstruct - while Highbet is operated under SCGO Limited's UKGC licence (44662). All of these are very solid and certainly benefit from the foundations of SCGO.
Below, we discuss the pros and cons of VBet's sister sites, all of which are powered by SCGO Limited (also known as BetConstruct).
Highbet hasn't been part of the SCGO umbrella for long, re-launching with the provider in February 2025 after initially using the (subpar) Aspire Global platform. That being said, the bookie has made a very strong start with its new looks and there is actually a lot to like, including a low £1 deposit.
The sportsbook and casino sections are very comprehensive, as you would expect given the provider, and the design is so much better than before. Some might see it as VBet's best sister but we think the shout is justified still, seeing as Highbet clearly wants to - and has - improved.
Finally, just like CopyBet, Hollywoodbets uses the SCGO platform but has a UKGC licence of its own. It's to be expected with such a big brand, operating worldwide, and there are things to like about the UK version as well. The minimum deposit is set at just £1, which is great, and there are plenty of markets for punters to find.
We would say that Hollywoodbets is more of an option for casino players rather than sports punters, but it certainly works as an all-round bookie as well. Another good thing to mention is the range of payment methods accepted, which is on par with VBet indeed.
Most punters in the UK will know of the CopyBet brand, even though the site only hit the market in 2016. The reasons? A rather generous welcome offer has historically been pushed by the bookie to attract new customers. Furthermore, the site has a rather unique 'copy' feature for tipsters to share their selections.
As for the overall experience, we don't have too many complaints about the site, seeing as the sections are comprehensive. Sometimes the loading times can be a bit slow, though, and the minimum deposit is also higher than its sisters at £10. Instant banking is available, so that is nice, but the minimum deposit must be fixed.
