Does Matchbook Have Any Sister Sites?

Matchbook was founded in 2004 and is now owned by TripleBet Limited, which in turn is owned by the professional gambler Matthew Benham. Recently, having established itself as one of the leading exchange bookmakers globally, EasyBet was added to its portfolio as TripleBet partnered up with the well-known airline EasyJet.

In other words, Matchbook does have a sister site but as we will come on to, it's not possible to have an account with both, which certainly defeats the purpose a bit. That being said, the fact that Matchbook is expanding shows that the core product is solid, which is no easy task in the world of exchange betting.

EasyBet Issues For Matchbook Customers

As alluded to, Matchbook has one sister sites and that is EasyBet, which is owned by the aviation company EasyJet. A white-label partnership was kick-started with Triplebet in October 2024; the brands are easily identifiable, with an identical interface, where only the colours and logos are different.

Matchbook EasyBet warning

This might sound like a very good thing from a sister sites perspective, however, customers cannot sign up for an EasyBet account if they already have an account with Matchbook. So, you have to look for alternatives rather than sister sites if you are a fan of Matchbook, which isn't ideal and something that frustrated us.

Matchbook Alternatives Reviewed

Below, we discuss some of the best alternatives to Matchbook, seeing as it isn't possible to join EasyBet (the only sister site).

🥇 Best Overall Option: Smarkets

Smarkets, which we feel offers another fantastic exchange service, is probably the best alternative to Matchbook.

With the latter, whilst you can find the market's 'Matched Value', seeing the stats is not easily accessible. However, on Smarkets, it's the complete opposite and browsing the stats is almost encouraged by the bookie.

For example, punters can see the percentage of market share for an option, how much has been placed on that selection, and many other statistics, all out in the open. A feature which is often more difficult to find on other matched betting platforms.

In addition to this, the site hosts some very nice odds and is just a generally good exchange platform. So, for these reasons, it is definitely worth considering.

SBK

Despite not being an exchange site, we felt that SBK offered a similar type of experience, with it being Smarkets' fixed-odds option. We should clarify, though, that because we are talking about a fixed-odds site, it doesn't work at all like an exchange.

However, one of the big benefits of exchange betting is the low betting margins, and with margins as low as 3.3%, SBK sits right alongside the exchange options. A lot of focus has also been placed on the customer experience, which is similar to the thinking of an exchange.

If you are simply looking for something a little different, then Spreadex is also a nice option even if it isn't a betting exchange either. Instead, customers can bet with fixed odds or choose to spread bet, which has become a popular method in recent years.

Customers are well looked after, with the site regularly being praised for its customer service, and this is the case from the start, with punters able to benefit from a superb sign-up offer.

All in all, a fantastic bookmaker and the leading spread betting option, so definitely a nice alternative for Matchbook customers.
