Find, compare and claim welcome offers of Paddy Power's sister sites & alternatives below. Paddy Power is owned by Flutter Entertainment and operated by PPB.
Without a doubt, Paddy Power is among the biggest betting and casino sites in the UK, further strengthened by a merger with Betfair that took place in 2016. It came after years and years of Paddy Power growing its brand with brick-and-mortar shops up and down the UK, along with a dedicated online presence.
Initially known as Paddy Power Betfair, the company is now called Flutter Entertainment and it's a name that will sound familiar to many punters. In 2019, the company acquired The Stars Group and subsequently the brands Sky Bet as well as Pokerstars. That being said, there are sister sites to check out in the UK aside from Betfair.
We have highlighted a few of Paddy Power's sister sites below, but as they are all very well-known, we have also included an alternative to check out.
Since Betfair was the first sister site of Paddy Power, it's not exactly a surprise that we have named it as the best here. The exchange has been the main selling point of the site but truth is, at least these days, the standard sportsbook is just as strong. The same goes for the casino product, which has a lot to offer.
Betfair has a more similar design to Sky Bet than Paddy Power, but you can still see the similarities between the two. For example, the 'Beat the Drop' promotion can be found on both sites and they usually share the same special markets too. A few more promotions on Betfair would have been nicer, though.
PokerStars might not be the first site you think of when you hear Flutter, but it's perhaps a bit underappreciated. Sure, the sportsbook falls behind Paddy Power and most of its sisters, but the foundation is still very strong. It's really only the promotions that separate them all, so it depends on what your focus is.
If you plan to play casino for most of the game, placing the occasional bet, then PokerStars is definitely one to check out. Even more so if you want to play poker and do some casino/sport staking. There is one nice promotion for the sportsbook as well, namely the Star Sub one (which keeps your player bets alive).
Our last pick here is BoyleSports, as we wanted to highlight an established but independent betting site as well. You can find the early payout on the site, not just for football but also for other sports (NFL, baseball etc) which is fantastic. There are also daily racing rewards, in addition to the standard promotions.
As for the quality of the sportsbook, the market depth is really good and live streaming is available for most horse racing meetings. We have to say that we are big fans of the recent rebranding as well, so there could be a pretty good future for BoyleSports. It's certainly a worthy Paddy Power alternative.
