Does Tote Have Any Sister Sites?
As far as bookmakers go, Tote is definitely one of the most well-known brands in the UK, having been around since 1928 (!). Over the years, the product - which is mainly pool betting - has evolved massively and the online addition is just one of many big steps forward. For us, however, the online site is of particular interest.
Indeed, while Tote is the only site owned by UK Tote Group (UKGC licence names is TDCO Limited), there are sister sites through the platform. When the online version was launched, or more specifically the fixed-odds element of it, Tote teamed up with Amelco. This platform provider also works with Fitzdares, making the two sister sites.
You could also argue that any bookie that offers Tote betting should be considered a sister site as well.

Seeing as Tote only has one sister site, Fitzdares, we have taken a closer look at that as well as some tote betting options below.
Betfred
Betfred is an obvious choice here for many reasons. First of all, we are talking about a bookie with a very high quality, both for horse racing and other sports. Secondly, Betfred actually used to own Tote after purchasing it from the UK government in 2011. It was sold to the current owner in 2019, so the bookie no longer has any sister sites.
Today, tote betting options are offered on Betfred, so that means you can get all of the pool betting benefits as well as an arguably better sportsbook.
